Replatting

Land owners often replat their lots into one for many reasons. A replat uses existing or found boundary lines and creates new ones. Replats can be done to satisfy building requirements or to correct any encroachments. Replatting can also be done when neighbors purchase additional land in between already owned property and split it as agreed between each party - this can help prevent new construction or overcrowding.
